- Firstly take a mixing bowl, add washed chicken. Add all the ingredients of marination, mix it well. Keep it in the fridge for 2 hours.

- For brown onion paste, slice onions, fry them in oil till brown. Cool it, grind it to a fine paste. (Quantity adjustable)
- Take a wok or deep bottom pan, add oil, heat it. Add tejpatta, saute it for a sec.


- Grind garlic & green chilli with lil water, make a fine paste. Add in the oil, saute it until rawness is released. Add very lil water to avoid burning.



- In goes marinated chicken, stir fry it for a minute. Add salt also, mix it well. Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until chicken is almost cooked.



- Open the lid, increase the flame, add fresh cream, mix it well. Cover it again, cook it on low flame until oil has oozed out.



- Open the lid, increase the flame, add 1 cup boiled water, mix it well. Give a boil.

- Lower the flame, cover it again, cook it until saucy. Turn off the flame, open the lid after 10 minutes.

- Take out in a serving bowl. Garnish it with chopped dhania patta or a leaf.


- Can be served along with Tandoori Roti, Naan or Lachcha Paratha.
