  1. 500 gm chicken on bone, curry cut,
  2. 6 tbsp oil (any),
  3. Whole Garam Masala..
  4. 1 bari elaichi,
  5. 1 tejpatta,
  6. 4 laung,
  7. 1 pc dalchini,
  8. 1/2 tsp kali mirch sabit,
  9. 2 med sized onion thinly sliced,
  10. 1 tsp garlic paste,
  11. 1 tsp ginger paste,
  12. 1/2 tsp haldi powder,
  13. 1 tsp green chilli paste,
  14. 2 tsp dhania powder,
  15. 2 med sized tomato sliced,
  16. to taste, Salt
  17. 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder,
  18. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder,
  19. 1 cup coconut milk,
  20. 1 tsp desi ghee,

Instructions to make to make Coconut Chicken Korma

  1. Take a wok, add 2 tbsp oil, heat it. Add chicken pcs, stir fry it until light brown. Take out in a bowl, keep aside.
  2. Now add rest of the oil in the same wok, heat it. Add whole Garam Masala, saute it for a minute.
  3. In goes onion, stir fry it until light brown.
  4. Now add ginger garlic paste, give a stir. Add very lil water to avoid burning. Cook it until rawness is released.
  5. In goes haldi, dhania powder & green chilli paste. Mix it well. Again add lil water, cook it until oil has oozed out.
  6. Now add tomato & salt, give a stir. Cover it with the lid, lower the flame, cook it until tomato becomes mushy.
  7. Open the lid, add Kashmiri red chilli powder & garam masala powder, stir fry it for a sec.
  8. Now add chicken pcs, stir fry it for a minute.
  9. Add coconut milk, give a stir. Moderate the flame, cook it until oil has surfaced.
  10. Now add 1 cup boiled water, stir it. Let it boil, lower the flame, cover it again. Cook it until chicken is almost cooked.
  11. Turn off the flame, open the lid after 10 minutes.
  12. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.
